Dr. med. dr hab. Jacek Kociszewski and his team are offering workshops for training and skill enhancement in diverse areas of urogynaecology.
Our custom-made Hagen courses offer a unique educational project for those who wish to improve their skills in urogynaecolgical ultrasound diagnostics. You will be given the possibility to get to know all the benefits of pelvic floor sonography. This new method of ultrasound provides so many answers to previously unanswered questions and is an excellent tool to understand physiology and pathophysiology of both pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
We will demonstrate in a new fashion how to visualize the entire female pelvic floor in its complexity and we will show you the dynamic interaction of its components both during pelvic floor muscle contraction and Valsalva maneuver.
Pelvic floor sonography is especially beneficial after surgery to evaluate the success of your procedure and to assess complications. In order to establish a specific, problem-oriented management of complications, pelvic floor sonography is the objective diagnostic method of choice.
Our courses are pragmatic in order to provide you with the necessary skills to start using pelvic floor sonography the first day back in your clinic. We are neither going to have a theoretical discussion about common textbook knowledge, nor are we going to give you an academic lecture about numbers and statistics from international research papers. Scientific results will be compared to our own findings and exemplified by many pictures and videos. We highly respect intellectual property, and therefore we only use ultrasound pictures that we produced ourselves.
All of our courses, whether they are focused on diagnostics or surgery, are based upon extensive ultrasound diagnostics with live demonstration both before and after surgery. You will see both vaginal tape and mesh in vivo, understand the way they work, see their pros and cons.
Many different cases from our library of complications will be analyzed thoroughly by ultrasound, so you will understand the management of poor results and complications. We guarantee that our concept of pelvic floor sonography is unique and stands alone as a valuable tool to improve your patient satisfaction. We invite you to compare our concept to your clinical experiences. For those of you who would like to apply their newly gained skills under supervision, we offer the possibility of visitations both during consultation and in the operating room.
